AI Studio Models Section and Oversight - Appv5 Knowledge
What's in this article?
The Models section in AI Studio gives administrators full visibility and control over the AI models available within their organization. It is divided into three parts: Models, Model Usage, and Model Limits. Together, these tools allow you to govern which models are in use, monitor consumption, and manage costs effectively.
Models
AI Studio provides over 340 available models to choose from. Administrators can approve only the models they want to allow within their organization. Once a model is approved, it becomes available to add to an agent via the agent configuration details screen. To remove a model from the approved list, click the remove button (trash can icon) on the approved models list.
Model Usage
The Model Usage section provides a comprehensive view of AI consumption across your organization. Usage data is presented both as an organization-wide summary and broken down by individual model. The metrics available include total requests, input and output tokens, total cost, cost as a percentage of total, average latency, and more. The date range displayed can be adjusted using the controls at the top of the page.
Model Limits
The Model Limits section allows you to set and monitor your organization's monthly AI spend. It displays your current spend, the number of days remaining in the month, and a predicted total spend based on your historical usage for the month, helping you determine whether you are on track. You can also configure a monthly spend limit; once that limit is reached, your organization will no longer be able to call AI agents, preventing any further spend.
