## Work Order Statuses

Work Orders are field service dispatching jobs that work seamlessly alongside remote cases.

Work Orders share many properties with Cases, but also include additional statuses that reflect the progress of the job itself, often driven by Technician activity in the Toolbox app.

| Status | Description |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **New** | All newly created Work Orders remain in New status until an Estimate has been created. |
| **Scheduling** | The Work Order moves to Scheduling status when a User completes the Estimate information. |
| **Scheduled** | The Work Order moves to Scheduled status when a Technician accepts a job advertisement in the Toolbox app. |
| **En Route** | The Work Order moves to En Route status when a Technician taps **En Route** in the Toolbox app to indicate they are on their way to the job. |
| **In Progress** | The Work Order moves to In Progress status when a Technician taps **Check In** in the Toolbox app to indicate they have started working. |
| **Resolved** | The Work Order moves to Resolved status when a Technician taps **Resolve** and submits their close-out notes in the Toolbox app. |
| **Pending Close** | The Work Order moves to Pending Close status when a User approves the Technician's work by closing out the Case. |
| **Closed** | The Work Order moves to Closed status when payment to the Technician has been approved.
